Introduction to Mark Elliott ... my background
My first role was a fantastic experience, working as chief Video Editor and Producer for Peugeot Citroen Cars U.K.
My programmes were used to broadcast communication programmes to over 3500 staff, producing dealer showroom adverts, Sales and Marketing training programmes, Promotional films, plus covering many social and rally team events
After this I moved into corporate event management in London, Birmingham, Bournemouth and Southampton which kept pushing my video production knowledge even further
In my 5th year as a photographer, my scope has widened to capture Yachting & Motorboat Regattas, Supercar events / Motor shows, and cruise ship promotional photography

So I built a Time Machine out of a Delorean ! Yes, to you can create your very own Time Machine experience. It has took us over 6 years of research, building and creating every detail of the Back to The Future film to provide you with the most immersive experience possible.

My credentials in this field are :
Trained as a Car mechanic and vehicle electronics engineer, gaining qualifications in both areas. So putting the knowledge into action along came my ownership of Classic cars and motorbikes. Over the past 8 years these vehicles have as pushed my vehicle technician skills, not only to keep these iconic cars on the road, but to also further improve my own DeLorean.
After attending nearly 40 events in my DeLorean I decided a vast majority of Back to the Future fans wanted to see the props from the film in my DMC-12. So I researched in great detail how to build the most realistic replica of the A Car Delorean Time Machine I could. I selected my replica was to be based on the reactor core version as used in Back to the Future part 1.
With over 6 years and 5000 man hours invested in the project, I now have now a fantastic Time Machine DeLorean for hire. Of course the project does not stop there, my time is spent on improving the electronics, props, and visual experience of the DeLorean.
We are hoping to add more movie cars to our portfolio, our next being a Ghostbusters Ecto 1 C ! (watch our website for more details)
What an experience working within such a unique Movie Car hire company . I am having such amazing experiences covering events from Round the Island yacht race to motoring events. We have attended supercar days such as Beaulieu, Bournemouth, Wilton House and of course 'CLASSIC and Supercars on the Quay'
My profession is a Nurse, starting in A&E then moving throughout many wards, more recently I became at Trainer for NHS, and now work as an Infection Prevention Sister for Southampton General overseeing Division B - Specialist medicine, Emergency Medicine (AMU), Outpatients , A&E, HAMS (Helicopter).
What do I know about the DeLorean and Back to the Future ?
This has been a passion of Mark’s for over 8 years now. He waited for many years to buy his first DeLorean, and I have fully supported hime along the way. The Time Machine was a project within itself. It required a huge amount of time not only on research but in sourcing and making the parts, but what he’s personally built now is truly amazing.
I still find it hard to believe the reaction we get when we take it for out for a Drive. It feels like you are in the film, the smallest details are featured both inside and out, right down to the correct wiring, gauges, time circuits and flux bands. Along with all the props from the film certainly makes it a fantastic experience for anyone hiring the DeLorean Time Machine.

Jon Harvey – Logistics and Transportation – Jon is a very impressive mechanical engineer by trade and not only provides technical support, but also transport and logistics for our hires based further afield.
As some of our hires are across the country we have to transport our DeLorean Time Machine and Sinclair C5’s. This may sound simple but each hire has it own unique challenges. This is where Jon’s skills gained over many years comes into play. We have had quite a few technical challenges, and each time they have been resolved quickly, with our clients being extremely impressed with our service. So if you meet Jon look out for the overhauls ! (as he’s normally prepping our cars ready for transport !)
Jon’s hobby is currently rebuilding and doubling the size of his current home, all self managed and last year seen massive progress, and we wish him all the success with the fit out in 2023

Our Delorean was built in August of 1981, being a 1/3rd of the way through production, it was imported back from Texas in 2014. A full refurbishment took place over the following 18 months which was completed April 2016. A truly unique car with an amazing history, the iconic Gull Wing doors and it’s Movie Car Status make it one of the most iconic cars on the road today.
