HIRE AGREEMENT and QUESTIONS
HIRER: NOT for self drive.
* Please contacts us with as many details of your event as possible e.g. Event type, timings, Location, Duties Required, Dates, if Public Event or Filming.
* Upon selecting you package that suits your event a £50 deposit is required. Final balance to be paid in full 2 weeks before the event.
* Please ensure there is adequate, safe and legal parking for the arrival of the vehicle.
Sandstone Productions :
* Endeavour to comply to your booking arrangement. We will clarify your requirements once the booking form is returned to us. Should we encounter any problems, we will inform you as soon as possible.
In the event of a breakdown we will try to find a replacement vehicle (please ask us for details, it will not be the make and model you have booked)
* Any damage caused by the hirer is the hirer responsibility and will be charged accordingly.
* As part of the agreement the passenger / hirer agrees that in reading our terms and conditions and digitally signing our Quote / Booking form that Sandstone Productions and its staff are not liable or responsible in the event of any injury.
* If Sandstone Productions fails to appear at the event through no fault of our own e.g. ill-health, accident or breakdown, we will inform the hirer as soon as possible, we will return the deposit (if we cannot arrange a suitable back-up vehicle) .
* The contract made between Sandstone Productions and the hirer is strictly between the hirer and Sandstone Productions
What is ncluded in the price
Hire of the Vehicle, Driver and milage, plus any extras as listed on our booking form
One collection and one drop off point, any further points must be discussed with us prior to signing booking form
Additional Hire Charges
Waiting time or additional hours required outside of the minimum contracted hire period will be charged at £70.00 per hour, or part thereof if not booked in advance. This is payable on the day. Additional mileage charge £3.50 per mile will be levied when not booked in advance payable on the day.
We allow enough driving time in your selected package to return you at the correct time, if however traffic conditions causes this time to be exceeded this will be included in your package, but Sandstone Productions will not be liable for late drop off’s due to traffic or breakdown issues.
If you do not inform us that you may need extra time / mileage beforehand, we may not be able to accommodate your request on the day.
All mileage will be accurately calculated using postcode data you provided to us at the time of booking
We recommend planning plenty of time to factor in delays, road works, hold ups, and heavy traffic on the day to ensure your booking times are correct
Prices quoted are for single Special Occasion and wedding ceremonies only
QUOTATIONS
All quotations will be in accordance with the information you provide. Once agreed, booked and confirmed, any alterations may result in an increased hire charge due to increased mileage or time.
Any reduction of time, mileage or locations will not reduce the hire charge, the minimum hire charge will already have been applied to your quotation.
RESERVATION DEPOSIT: £50 per car
If the hire date is within 2 weeks of the booking the total hire fee is payable.
Payments can be made by Direct Bank Transfer, Cash, internet banking (PayPal are subject to an additional fee which varies according to the amount being paid)
All deposits are non-refundable unless is due to Covid.
HIRE CHARGES
Please note due to the increased in motoring (including vehicle maintenance, fuel, staff and utilities) our yearly running costs are rising dramatically which cannot be reduced or avoided in any way.
So in order to provide you with unqiue Movie Car hire at yesteryears prices we ask politely that you do not ask for further discounts. That way we can continue to offer you outstanding quality Movie Cars and 1st class service.

Can we hire more than 1 vehicle ?
Yes, as many as you like. We can source vehicles at your request
Can we extend our hire time after we have signed the agreement, even on the day ?
Yes, if we can accommodate your request and we have availability to stay at your event for longer. Price and availability will be decided by your driver on the day
If requested early we can update the agreement and fees.
Can more than one person use the car ?
No, only the hirer can use the vehicle, friends family and guests will not have access inside the car. This is due to any damage that could occur. This would fall on the hirers liability to bear the full cost of the repair. So to ensure an amazing experience only 1 person is allowed excess to the interior.
Can we go to 88mph ?
Sorry but this can only be achieved for time travel and here in the U.K the driver will have abide to all speed limits !
Can I consume food or drink in the car ?
Sorry again no, the cars do not have any provision to eat or drink, and why would you (you will be to busy enjoying yourself !)
Can my friends jump in quickly for just a photo ?
No, due to insurance and Health & Safety only the hirer has access to the interior, this is due to the DeLorean having alot of equipment inside, and some metal parts can cause harm. Also the hirer is responsible for any damage caused. So Friends and Family are not covered. But they can have as many photos outside of the car as they wish
Can I request photo's of my experience ?
Yes, as many as you like we can even supply an A3 Canvas print of your experience at a small extra cost.
Can you arrive 15 mins earlier for photo's to be taken before we leave ?
Yes, we do include this in your package to ensure we are there 15 minuets earlier than your booked time
Can I request to play my own music ?
Yes, connect your phone into our sound system to enjoy your own music whilst enjoying the experience
